About Us
El Campo Cycle Center started as a Ganado Cycle Shop way back in 1971 in the little town of Ganado, Texas. The owner, James Schoeneberg, was focused primarily on offering exceptional service and repair to the little town and its surrounding areas.
This all changed when in 1983, Suzuki introduced a new type of vehicle – the 4 wheeled ATV. It required a move north to El Campo, but Mr. Schoeneberg opened up his Suzuki dealership just in time to become one of the first in the area to offer the new 4 wheeler, in addition to the rest of Suzuki’s motorcycle lineup.
Over the years, El Campo Cycle Center has added numerous brands and product lines to our list of offerings – from Polaris® ATVs in 1990, Honda Power Equipment in 1995, Honda® motorcycles and ATVs in 1998, Bad Boy lawnmowers in 2014, and our newest acquisition in 2018 – Can-Am® ATVs and SXS.
El Campo Cycle Center was one of only three Suzuki dealerships in the state of Texas to win Suzuki’s Super Service Award its first two years (1987 and 1988), and once it was available again in 1997 we have won it every year since. We still offer the same exceptional service that we have since the beginning, but have now expanded to our much larger facility on Highway 59.
